Method To Fix If Installation is Forbidden By System Policy:

1. Try Automatic Driver Updater:

It is suggested that you should use DriverFix tool. This tool will backup all the existing drivers and automatically install the correct ones. After installing this tool, this will update the driver automatically and also fixes the issues like incompatibility or corrupted drivers, etc.

2. Edit Local Group Policy:

You should type in gpedit.msc in Windows search and then tap on Enter. When the Group Policy opens, you should go to the following location:

First, click on Local Computer Policy and then choose Computer Configuration and select Administrative Templates and then choose Windows Components and then click on Windows Installer.

Then on the left side of the window, you should double-click on the Prohibit non-administrators from applying vendor signed updates entry. Now in the new window, you should select Disabled. After this, you should click on Apply option and then press OK.

Always keep in mind that you should log in as an administrator.

3. Check Local Security Setting:

You should type in Control Panel in Windows search and then tap on Enter. Now under View by, you should select Small icons from the drop-down menu. After this, you should click on Administrative Tools. Then, you should double-click on Local Security Policy. When the new window opens, you should click on Software Restriction Policies which is on the left side. And on the right side, you will see the following text:

At this point, you should right-click on Software Restriction Policies and then click New Software Restriction Policies. Now, you should double-click on Enforcement on the right. 4. Enable Windows Installer Service:

You should type in services.msc in Windows search or Run dialog box and then tap on Enter. Then in the Services window, you should scroll down till you reach Windows Installer service. After this, you should right-click on it and then select Start option. At this point, you should close down Services and then check the error is removed or not.

5. Change BIOS Settings:

First, you should reboot your computer. Now just before the login screen animation, spam F2, F8, Del, Esc, or another button on your keyboard. Then in BIOS, you should change Wireless settings. After this, you should go to Wireless Switch and then delete the ticks from WLAN and Bluetooth options. At this point, you should go to Wireless Device Enable and then tick WLAN and Bluetooth just to enable them. At the end, just Reboot your PC.

6. Change Windows Registry:

You should type in regedit.msc in Windows search or Run dialog box and then tap on Enter. If User Account Control opens up, you should click on Yes option. Now, you should go to the following location:

HKLM\\Software\\Policies\\Microsoft\\Windows\\Installer

If in case, you cannot see DisableMSI entry on the right side, then you should right-click on the empty space on the right side of the window and then select New and choose DWORD (32-bit) Value. Here, you should Name it DisableMSI and then double-click on it. After this, you should set Value to 0 and then click OK. At last, you should close down the Registry Editor.
