How You Can Edit Your Own Account Setting with Webroot Antivirus?

Webroot antivirus is the security product which gives great security to your gadget from emerging threat and it can install via www.webroot.com/safe. The user can easily edit their account setting which has the user details like login name, password, etc. and can access permissions. You can change any setting except the email address which is provided with your login name. In this blog, you will read the method to edit your own Account setting.  

In Account Setting, you can edit the Admin Details & Permissions, Disable the 2-factor authentication, change your password, change your security code and can also change your security questions.

Method to Edit Admin Details & Permissions:

First of all, you should tap on the Down arrow which is next to your login ID and then hit on Account Settings. Now, in the Account Settings page, you should tap on Edit Details option in order to display the Admin Details tab, where the user can edit the information. Here in the Admin Details panel, you can make changes to your name, phone numbers and time zone. After this, you should tap on Save Details option to return back to the Account Settings page. Next, you can check the access permissions and then tap on Access & Permissions tab. At last, you should tap on the Save Access & Permissions button just to return back to the Account Settings page.

Method to Disable 2-Factor Authentication:

For this, you should log in to the Endpoint Console and then tap on the Account Settings tab on the drop-down menu which is there on the top-right of the screen just to view your Account Settings. After this, you should tap on Disable option which is next to 2FA in order to open the Disable 2FA workflow. Now, you should enter your email/phone number which is linked with your account and your Password and then tap on Continue option. Next, you should open your mobile authenticator app and then enter the code which is there in the Authentication Code box and then tap on Confirm option. At last, you should hit on disable 2FA and then you will get an email confirmation that 2FA has been disabled from your account.

Method to Change your Password:

On the Account Settings page, you should tap on Change option which is next to Password in order to open the Change Password page. After this, you should enter your current password and then tap on Change Password.

Method to Change your Security Code:

From the Account Settings page, you should tap on Change option which is next to Security Code in order to open the Change Security Code page. After this, you should enter a new personal security code in the box and then enter your password. At last, you should hit on Change Security Code.

Method to Change your Security Questions:

On the Account Settings page, you should hit on Change option which is next to Security Question in order to open the Change Security Questions page. After this, you should choose your security questions and then enter your answers in the box and then hit on Change Security Questions in order to update your account security questions.
